Lunch with family at Kamay Kainan
(Borrowed the photos from The Unlawyer’s Photoblog)
I hosted a lunch for my cousin Leo and his kids who will leaving for Ireland to join his wife, who works there as a nurse. I figured since they will be in Europe for the longest time, it probably wouldn’t hurt if I treated them to a Filipino buffet restaurant since it would be another year or so for their next authentic Filipino restaurant food experience. And Kamay Kainan did not disappoint. Their food is good and the choices were kept within the 20-dish minimum, although they say they have 50+ choices. True enough they did serve us the Tempura Kakiage, as advertised.
It’s a nice place for family get-togethers. The price is not expensive (only P270.00 per person). Just make sure that you have grumbling tummies when you go there, or else the iced tea will get the better of you.
