I Scream For Ice Cream at P59.00!

Yes, I know its been raining lately but I just couldn’t resist the call of good old-fashioned ice cream. So, in one of excursions to S&R, I gave in to my craving. My favorite is cookies and cream, Noreen has always been crazy about pistachio nut, while Eden got the Bunny Tracks.


Blue Bunny is not a local brand, but proved to be way cheaper than other American ice cream brands like Ben & Jerry’s or Dreyer’s, with very little difference in taste. As far as I know, Blue Bunny can only be bought at S&R. Please leave a comment if you know of other places where this ice cream is available.

Cookies and cream! My favorite! One scoop costs P59.00 (US$1.37.) But the person behind the counter always puts two scoops on each cone even if I pay for only one. A third scoop costs an extra P29.00 (US$0.67) only.

BTW can we request for a review? Because sometime there are places that my friends recommend but Im a very busy person so I dont like running around and getting stuck on traffic for something that will disappoint me end at the end.

BTW I owe Elmar Gomez a review of a place where he dropped us after the Google TechTalk where we met. We kinda got disappointed so we went to Toyz at Palanca St, Makati. Its a bar but serves lunch and diner as well. The food is good and the price is so right. However I’m clueless when reviewing places so if you happen to pass by there maybe you can take a look at it? :D

Btw, im drooling here looking at the pictures of food. Every diner time i check your blog first to boost my appetite ^_^

we should preserved this site deep down from a super duper coolling freezer, all foods posted around here takes away my concentration at work, and i love it! keep up the nice updates! :)

I’ve seen this brand several times in supermarkets but didn’t really pay it much attention. That’s because I didn’t really know much about it. Your review is encouraging though! So I’ll keep my eyes peeled again on this brand when I go shopping. Thanks! That pistachio cone looks delish!

I came across your blog – I work for Blue Bunny. Thanks for the good words; we are trying. If you go to bluebunny.com, you can use the store locator (bottom of the page) to see which store in your area carries the ice cream. Hope that helps.
