Jelly Belly at Le Souffle
It’s always the little things that make the most difference. For people who want their parties to be unforgettable, you may want to get some ideas from Candy Corner’s Jelly Belly designs.
I just found the butter cute which is why I took this picture.
The smoked salmon with grilled prawn and mushrooms salad is to die for. I so loved the sauce, which was generously drizzled over the greens, succulent prawn, smoked salmon and delicious mushrooms.
The Gruyere cheese went well with the onion soup.
A tall glass of blast-frozen grapes was a delightful surprise. I never liked eating grapes, even on New Year’s Eve but these grapes were wonderfully soft and the temperature further enhanced the taste. Indeed, the most delicious grapes I’ve ever tasted.
Since I had the opportunity to choose, instead of seafood, I opted to go hedonistic and went with the US Black Angus Tenderloin with wild rice, instead of the seafood.
The scallops looked good but there was way too much food that I just went along with the beef. I had no regrets.
Dessert came in Le Souffle’s signature dish, choco souffle, of course, with jelly belly bits at the bottom.
My thanks to Candy Corner for this wonderful event. More power to you!
