Bloggers let their hair down as they partied with Coke Zero at the Mall of Asia last Friday, July 27. It was great to see the old faces again, as well as meet some new bloggers. There were games that made us all laugh at ourselves silly, and of course, Kel entertained the bloggers with his outstanding and death-defying feats of magic. Well, I speak for myself because I am always fascinated with this guy.

In celebration of the coming of Nestle Pops to the local market, a party was held for the bloggers where the only rule was that for everyone to have fun, while munching on their favorite Nestle Pops. Yes, I met Toni of www.wifelysteps.com, Fran of www.frannywanny.blogspot.com, Jane, the yogini from Manila and Dine Racoma. Bloggers have always been very friendly to each other, that it is never a disappointment to mingle or introduce yourself to them.

My Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf excursion

26 June, 2008 (00:41) | events, restaurants | By: Arpee

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was always more than just a coffee (or tea) place for me. My experience with CBTL always includes something learned and unlearned. At a photography workshop sponsored by CBTL, I learned that it is always important to have inspiration before taking a picture. Aside from the fact that there is a need for documentation, pictures can be just as effective as words when trying to convey a message. In very much the same way that writers experience writer’s block, photographers can also “lose the moment” when they lack inspiration. And that is what I probably lacked all this time. However, what I do have, is a story for every picture I take, and the pictures below serve as a testimonial.
