Starstruck at Collezione C2 launch
I apologize as this post has nothing to do with food. It is about Rhett Eala launching his My Pilipinas series of Collezione shirts. So what’s unique about it? Rhett Eala has given us the opportunity to be both fashionable and patriotic. Proudly Pinoy, the My Pilipinas series is the perfect embodiment of art meeting fashion.
The launch, held at the CAV wine bar and restaurant, was wonderfully hosted by Carlos Celdran, whose image I would love to share with mine on the same frame.
The My Pilipinas shirts were lovely renditions of Eala’s art on casual wear. Wouldn’t it be nice to have the Philippine map on the breast pocket of your shirt? Sure beats wearing designer clothes.
However, for me, the real highlight of the event was the auction. We were all given play money to use to pay for an auction of six of Eala’s drawing. I didn’t manage to successfully bid on any of the drawings but look who I asked a photo op with?!
No less than the presidential daughter herself!
Luli Arroyo was so nice to us. She was there with her friends. I saw her in the auction area and couldn’t approach her right away because she was with her friends. Hiya naman ako. Lucky for me, her security detail wasn’t around to shoo me away.
I’m happy as happy could be.

And just last week we were talking about CAV then we were there. They serve really good wine, ‘no? Sayang I wasn’t able to chat with you guys, but next event we’ll make chika. andami kong tips pa nga eh.
to bambi: if you ever come up with a seminar on beauty, i’ll surely be there. i think i kinda need it, hahaha!
how much are the shirts?

to lanie: they are very much available. i saw one the at the market market mall. i believe you can buy these shirts at any collezione store.
How much is the tshirt with collar? Do they have branches in SM Manila & SM North Edsa? Thanks a lot!
to zhayuri: sorry i don’t have that info. for sure they have a branch in market market, taguig. perhaps the sm malls will be no different. it’s worth a try. according to my officemate who got one with collar, it cost her P600.00
