Nestle Pops: the party!
In celebration of the coming of Nestle Pops to the local market, a party was held for the bloggers where the only rule was that for everyone to have fun, while munching on their favorite Nestle Pops. Yours truly had a wonderful time partying with some of the blogosphere’s finest. Yes, I met Toni of www.wifelysteps.com, Fran of www.frannywanny.blogspot.com, Jane, the yogini from Manila and Dine Racoma. Bloggers have always been very friendly to each other, that it is never a disappointment to mingle or introduce yourself to them.
Since we came in earlier than most people, we waited in our seats for the program to start. This was the perfect time for me to reminisce about the former Magnolia house and the wonderful childhood memories that this place had given me. Being a child of the 1970s, the Nestle creamery (formerly the Magnolia house) was the closest that any child would ever get to visiting a Willy Wonka factory. No oompa-lumpas here, just a bunch of well-meaning, hard-working staff who serve and entertain guests all at the same time.
This sign was on our table. Actually made sure that I had a picture of it so that you would be able to see it and perhaps visit it when you get the chance.
As soon as the bloggers came in, the party started.
As part of the Nestle Pops launch, an online game was introduced where people can play the game and stand a chance to win an Xbox 360 as the first prize.Among the bloggers, the same contest gave away a really cool Pop9 lomo camera. I ended up winning the camera. See the pictures below to get a piece of the action!
Being so intent on the score, I managed to win despite having accidentally clicked out of the contest. The score was being monitored and the Proximity people decided to hand me the prize. So happy am I!
If you want to be winner like me, play the same game at http://getyourpopon.ph! An Xbox awaits!

Hi Arpee! Congratulations again on winning the getyourpopon challenge.
Though we were not introduced formally, it was nice to see you and all the other bloggers at the event. (First time ko sa blogger events kaya shy pa ko lumapit.) I got included pa in your last pic (I’m the one in black). See you around! ![]()
