Great food is only made with great equipment. I have experienced first-hand, how it is to work a professional kitchen, and it is only pleasurable when the equipment you use is efficient, durable and time-saving. That’s what Ariston and GE Monogram appliances are all about.

Last Friday, June 27, I had the pleasure of experiencing a guided-tour to the GE Monogram showroom at the second level of the Serendra, inside the Fort, Taguig City. Incidentally, this is the kitchen of choice used by CCA’s (Center for Culinary Arts) Tristan Encarnacion for the Kitchen Discovery Classes. The Ariston oven displayed at the top is the one I want. it’s roughly P23,000.00 (US$517.00) and is exactly the size that will fit snugly in my kitchen. I’ve always wanted a big oven that will let me bake cake and roasted chickens.

A range hood is so nice to have, so that the smell of food doesn’t get into your clothes and curtains. This is just the one is want, but it’s not within my price range. Still, condo dwellers should have one.

This one was really interesting. It’s some kind of warmer, where you can store your food prior to serving.

For P31,000.00 (US$700.00) you can have your very own Merlin filtration system that cleans water as good as your neighborhood water station. I think the investment will return in less than a year.

to zee: these equipment don’t come cheap, but they are worth it.

to sarah: that merlin water-purifier was quite a surprise for it’s price.

to christine: not so sure about the price of the range hood. you may want to visit the GE monogram store at serendra. i already told them about you. if you introduce yourself, they will definitely give you a discount.
