Ah this is the life! Just looking at the waves and enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. Imagine if your village had this beautiful beach club as an amenity for homeowners, wouldn’t that be the dandiest thing? Well, you can now own a piece of paradise with Kawayan Cove.

arpkawayan1

Kawayan Cove is premier subdivision in Nasugbu, Batangas with a land area of 68 hectares. The smallest lot area you can purchase is 500 square meters and the largest is around 2,000 square meters. The lots are big because the developers believe that a country home must have all the space you can possibly have. Wide open spaces where your children can play without the worry of encountering shady characters.

The Puyat family members, owners of Kawayan Cove, were the most gracious of hosts as they welcomed us and took us around their 68-hectare domain. Before the tours, they treated us to a wonderful lunch by the beach. Anton Diaz also gave a very informative talk on how to take pictures. I learned a lot from him and I felt I was very fortunate to have attended yet another of his wonderful tours.

And the lunch was just wonderful. See the great-tasting food they served us at the Bamboo Beach Club inside Kawayan Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Wow, aligue!!!

arpkwayanbinakol

Pictured above is Binakol. It is said to be originally an Ilonggo dish where the chicken is boiled and cooked using coconut water. Here’s a recipe from another website, if you’re interested in cooking it yourself at home. This is my new favorite.

arpkwayanpusit

Noreen loved this one. It’s skewered squid and cooked over coals.

arpkwaynbarbque

Tell me, how can we all not want to eat barbecue? Chicken wings and legs were roasted for the bloggers.

arpkwayanshrimp

Fresh shrimp were also provided in large quantities. Gotta love shrimp!

arpkwyanrice

The rice is served this way. Reminds me of Binalot. Really imaginative and effective.

arpkwayankangkong

The kangkong stalk cooked in coconut milk. Very delicious side dish!!!

arpkwayanitlog na maalat

Salted egg salad. The ultimate Pinoy salsa!

it looks like we missed on a lot. my superfriend and i showed interest and got confirmation to this event from geiser maclang. unfortunately, i got sick the night before (fever and flu) so we were not able to join. it’s good to hear that the event was a success and the bloggers enjoyed it.

sana may next time pa…hehe. :)
