Pangandaman and son display bad behavior

28 December, 2008 (16:06) | Uncategorized | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | By: Arpee

I just found out about the mauling incident last night. That Agrarian Reform Secretary Pangandaman and his son Nasser Jr were involved in the mauling of a 56-year-old golfer and his 14-year-old son at the Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo. Blogger Bambee Dela Paz is the daughter of the elder Dela Paz who got mauled allegedly by Mayor Nasser Jr’s bodyguards. According to the news, the Pangandaman’s got upset because the Dela Paz’s complained to Valley Golf and Country Club admin people about the Pangandaman’s violation of golfing etiquette. Wow! Since when did complaining against ill behavior become a crime? So that’s what politicians do? When someone complains against them, they approach you with bodyguards and beat you to a pulp? Even if it’s THEIR FAULT? Antipolo is far from the Mayor Nasser Jr’s turf of Lanao. IF HE CAN THROW HIS WEIGHT AROUND IN ANTIPOLO, who knows what atrocities he is capable of in his hometown.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that the Dela Paz’s were wrong and that maybe they did challenge Nasser Jr to a fist fight, as the Pangandaman’s claim. Wow, that’s stupid! A 14-year-old and a 56-year-old challenging a politician to a fist fight in the presence of their bodyguards? For a 10-year golf veteran and member of Valley Golf, that doesn’t make sense at all.

The best thing the Pangandamans could have done was walk away, if indeed the Dela Pazs were challenging them. Beating them to a pulp was not the answer as the Dela Pazs were civilians, unarmed and terribly outnumbered. You just don’t hurt people if they do not try to hurt you, physically. The hurt to the ego could have been overlooked, as the Pangandamans were in a position of power they could not afford to flaunt. But it seems that they did.

So because the Pangandamans are under GMA’s good graces, they can always get away with anything. With the way things are going, I don’t see much public outrage over the matter, perhaps except for the bloggers who totally sympathize with Bambee. I would really love to see the “wheels of justice” turn in favor of the non-politicians. IF WE ALL MAKE NOISE, THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT AND THESE POLITICOS WILL LEARN THEIR LESSON. REMEMBER, IT CAN ALSO HAPPEN TO YOU.

I thought these people swore to help the Filipino people. I suppose we are wrong. These power hungry people doesn’t care about Filipinos. The barely “respect” anyone as evidenced by their behavior. So what if they don’t know of him? Do they seriously expect every filipino to know the names of everyone in gov’t. Absolutely foolist – but then again – He is famous now…just not because he is a true sportsman, a gentleman, respectful, with integrity and honor but one that is most repulsive to the human race.

Hi! Im from Cagayan de Oro City working here in Iligan, Lanao del Norte as nurse. The Mayor you are reffering to is JR Pangandaman 26 yrs old and his reported bodyguards are not his security but his brother Hussein Pangandaman 30 and cousin Adnan Pacasum.

They are known troublemakers here and a quick check with the police archives here will reveal dozens of untowards incidence commited by these Moklos. Mayabang talaga sila maski kaming mga babae binabastos. Hussein even got his ex gf pregnant and doesnt pay child support. Known talaga sila laging nangugulo sa mga bars and golf courses. Muslim kasi kaya insecure, JR Pangandaman The Mayor even paid voters just to win. They throw their weight around even boasting kayang kaya nila si FG, Gloria at Nograles. Thats how blatant they are.

May this serve as a warning to all Filipinos that If you happen to meet a Pangandaman named JR and Hussein…. watch out! for you are in deep trouble…. They roam the billiard halls of Tomas Morato with guns tucked away waiting to be used in the slightest case of provocation kaya watch out.

If i were the Dela Paz and family , hope he continues this case and appeal to all aggrieve parties to email him to get a bigger picture of the Pangandamans.

these pangandamans are the sort that gives muslim a bad name. yes, they must be taught some lessons. politicians like them from mindanao don’t really get chosen by their people, they usually grab their powers. it is said that they create new municipalities/offices in order for their family/relatives to have government positions. no wonder, peace and progress is very elusive in their area co’z they tend to kill each other (clan war) when one of them crosses the other’s border. i wonder why the hell they were given autonomy when they only use their powers to abuse their fellow muslims. now, they don’t only abuse their own people, but also other people outside their turf (sa golf course pa…in broad daylight pa…ang kakapal talaga). they are just like 5 year old kids given high-powered guns as toys by their parent (gov’t), even knowing that it can kill them. YOU PANGANDAMANS ARE FULL OF S**T!!! RESIGN NOW!!! BASURA KAYO!!!

Goons will always be goons. Only in the Philippines is Golf considered a dangerous game. The Philippine Army should really get rid of all MILF and Abu Sayaf..they are all goons in Mindanao.

Ako po si abat, distant relatives kami ng mga pacasum, ang middle name ng magkapatid na pangandaman na sangkot ngayon sa isa na namang gulo. Im not surprise anymore because their names are synonymous to trouble here in Lanao. Ubod ng yabang ng magkapatid na yan and they give us maranao’s a bad name.

That’s what we get for appointing warlords to government. A goon will be a goon even if you dress him up and put him in a respectable position. “Honouroble” my ass! This is just one of the many reasons why Mindanao has never prospered. Muslims have some sort of war-freak destructive nature that they can’t seem to overcome. It will take many generations if ever, to correct this cultural flaw. The majority of Mindanao Muslims after all, are descended from marauders and pirates in the pre-Spanish era. I hate to be racist but I too am from Mindanao where everyone is Datu this or Sultan that…. So I guess I know what I’m talking about

i am also a muslim and a tausug, and i don’t know if how many people hate me. i can’t blame those people who against and angry with us. it’s also our fault of being stupid and uncivilized. honestly, i don’t like my tribe in some ways but what else can i do. i observed how the politicians run my hometown jolo and how the people act as if they own the world. some muslims don’t want to have a good education because of some spiritual reasons. the Pangandaman, they are the most beautiful example of how worst is the situation in Mindanaoe. in jolo, a year before election, there a lot of kidnappings and killings. these are just few situations and i sympathize those victims.
for the comments, i don’t feel bad nor angry but i just want to emphasize that not all muslims think the same way. there are exeptions. if the christians have bad people as well as good, the same also with the muslims.

I have read all the comments here. Some are sound, but most comments by some people here reflect their ignorance. The comments reflect their shallow and closed minds. Generalizing all Muslims and all Moro groups is totally foul. I am a Muslim, and it hurts me to read these comments. Let us not be over-ruled by our emotions. I concede, the actions of the Pangandamans need to be condemned. However, there are more decent ways to rally against them. Do you really think that your foul and below-the-belt comments to the Muslims and other Moro groups will help? You are merely hurting the moderate Muslims with these comments–those Muslims who try their very best to paint a picture of a desirable Mindanao and desirable Philippines. That is the problem with you people. You love to label us. We are often the subjects of stereotypes and biases. Let us be fair here. Don’t try to bastardize us. Don’t trample our religion. We also want peace and development much as you do.

Why is it that the media, and the people always…always exaggerate and sensationalize things whenever the Muslims are involved? Whatever we do, there’s always that stigma attached to our identity–a bandit, a terrorist, a drug lord…anything bad. Has this country and its people ever recognized the good things that the Muslim and Moro community has done? NO. Maybe sometimes…it’s never made BIG, the way how our shortcomings are blown out of proportions.
