We just bought a Robina Chicken in the Makati store branch. We were very disappointed after having a few bites on their chicken finding out that it was not FRESHLY cooked. In other words the chicken was reheated. To all future costumers WATCH OUT!

The first Robina Chicken was at Buendia & Bautista Sts. in Makati. I remember they placed the chicken in a box if you wanted it to go and there was a sauce that came with it. Later on, this was the place to buy chicken neck.

We have the same experience. I remember when I was in Grade3-5 (around 1983-85), we've been indulging in Robina's chicken necks. If I am not mistaken, P5/per pack pa ata bili namin noon.

Anyways, we have the same experience sir. While driving along Finlandia (not yet near Robina), I was saying to my mother, "Nay, natatandaan mo nung bata pa kami, may binibilhan tayo ng chicken leeg (neck) sa Makati Square?" My nanay replied, "oo naman.

And then my wife suddenly pointed to the left saying, "parang ganyan?" And to my amazement I saw the sign Robina Chicken. I was quite ecstatic! Eto yun ah! Galing naman!

Unfortunately, I have to drive past the restaurant as I was driving a little fast at it was too late to stop. So, one day, after coming from iMax MOA (Avatar rocks, btw), I made sure to drive slowly this time so as not to miss the chicken from Robina.

And that's the beginning of a renewed story about a kid who grew up with Robina, lost it.... and found it again.
