Selecta’s Vanilla Almond Ice Cream by Chef Ariel Manuel
Everybody loves ice cream and I am definitely no exception. So far the Selecta Gold series has not disappointed. With its reasonable price, you can have one of the world’s best tasting ice cream.
A short history of Selecta Ice Cream
Many people probably don’t realize that the Selecta ice cream brand started in the 1930s by the Arce family. Through the years, it has become popular in both the Philippines and in Australia. My childhood is mostly peppered with Selecta ice cream memories and that tin can has become synonymous with good quality. Do they still sell Selecta in those tin cans? I remember we make them our “tabo” after we finish the ice cream. They hardly rust!
Chef Ariel Manuel has helped make this ice cream flavor an overnight sensation. Try a tub now!

This is my fave amongst the chef’s creations series, simple flavors but they all compliment each other which makes it sooo delicious. This is my new fave!

Yummy! Saw this at Greenbelt too last Saturday. The words “caramel fudge” makes me want to try a cup, keber if I’m lactose intolerant.
By the way, thanks for bringing the girls to our event last Saturday!
Can’t wait to read their posts.
