Sonya’s Cupcakes
I hope no one gets upset when I say MOST OF US love cupcakes. Serendra houses one of the most popular cupcake stores in the country: Cupcakes by Sonja. Yes, it is a little pricey but it’s the price you pay for sweet tooth heaven. I’d say it’s reasonable. Sugar does cost more than P55 per kilo, you know.
I live less than 3 kilometers aways from Sonja’s but the heat has really taken it’s toll on the cupcakes, despite the air conditioning inside the car, which didn’t seem to help. Still, thanks to the sugar, they all tasted grand they got to my house. They are the tastiest cupcakes you will ever come across! Any excuse to get some– a birthday, a good grade, a family get together or bingo games and a barbecue with friends. Sonja’s cupcakes delight young and old alike.
I love carrot cupcakes. I was happy this one didn’t have any nuts. Or so I thought.
Copied by many but hardly understood, this red cupcake is good for two people with moderate appetites. What say you?
I remember a friend once told me (yeah it was Brad), that the ugliest-looking desserts are usually the best-tasting. I’ve been putting this theory to the test and so far, it seems to be true. This is my favorite in the box. I love the flourless chocolate cupcake. You will too.

Mahilig din ako sa cupcakes but I haven’t tried sonja’s kasi walang malapit na branch sa akin. I love Frostings cupcakes…
