Jollibee’s Chicken Barbecue: An Improved Taste
Admittedly, I used to hate Jollibee’s Chicken Barbecue. It was just way too sweet! I am very happy that with the new improved flavor, Jollibee’s Chicken Barbecue has gotten better and is now part of my favorites’ list.
Let’s go in to the meat of the matter. After several servings of this chicken, I noticed that upon biting into this chicken, the smokey flavor is more apparent. It is no longer as sweet as I remember it to be and it no longer has the red bloody part, commonly found in charcoal-barbecued chicken. Aside from that, the new Jollibee Chicken Barbecue comes with two sauces, one is teriyaki for the sweet tangy taste, while the other is soy sauce and Philippine lemon with a chili pepper (toyo with calamansi and chili pepper).
I highly recommend that you give it a try the next time you find yourself dining at Jollibee.
