My personal experience with transacting with Cebuana Lhuillier is a very pleasant one. We have all experienced having money problems and sometimes have ran to friends and family for financial assistance and some of us have had to withstand harsh words and even rejection and disappointment. Money is a precious resource that we all need to manage properly but sometimes there will be bumps on the road that will require us to spend more than we should, whether we like it or not. Most people look down on those who are desperate for money, immediately branding you as second-class. Cebuana Lhuillier is exactly the service that will save you from the embarrassment and disappointment. When I was having money troubles last year, Cebuana Lhuillier paid my rent and utilities bill. It was painless and you didn’t leave the place feeling humiliated. The branch manager of Cebuana Lhuillier in my building was very nice, accommodating and chatty. I kinda like being with chatty people as I do sometimes enjoy neighborhood gossip.

I got the opportunity/ to speak with Cebuana Lhuillier’s management team headed by brothers Jean Henri Lhuillier and Andre Lhuillier. Truly the visionaries, Jean Henri and Andre Lhuillier are hands-on in developing financial product offerings to the common Pinoy living in the city and in the province. CLP (Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop) is basically the financial services outlet in places where banks cannot setup shop. Loans and other services are offered with the most basic and spartan of documentation, yet safe, efficient and convenient for all people needing access to ready funds.

Nice to know that they are giving away special edition Cebuana Lhuillier MyPhone cellphones to clients who have the 24k card and are frequent return customers. You can’t buy this phone but you can have it if you are a frequent customer. Just troop to the nearest CLP for more details. Chances are, there is one within walking distance from where you live.

CLP is also looking for the Happiest Pinoy. It is a search that has started last year and they are still accepting nominations. Prizes include cash and other goodies. For more information see more details on their Facebook page.
