I saw the ad last week for the 2013 Philippine National Fireworks Festival at the Marikina Riverbanks Mall. I love going to the Riverbanks Mall, this time I loved it even more. I can’t help but compare this with the pyrotechnics thingamajig at the Mall of Asia. Yeah, their firework shows were longer than those at the Marikina river, but it is much more organized and is easier to visit. I go to the Marikina Riverbanks Mall because of one reason; the price. It is always a sale down there. I have already bought two pairs of leather shoes there and I am happy with their product’s quality. It speaks volumes about the Marikina people’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. From the clothes to the shoes to the food, the Riverbanks Mall is really MY KIND OF MALL.
Every Saturday of April, you will be able to witness the Philippine National Fireworks Festival. This festival pits one city/town against another. Yesterday, I enjoyed a fireworks show participated in by Silang in Cavite, Lemery in Batangas and Puerto Princesa, Palawan. It was awesome, especially the one by Puerto Princesa. There are two more Saturdays to enjoy this, so I suggest you plan for next Saturdays, April 20 and 27, and go there with your friends and family. If I were you, I’d get a table on the second floor of the Bonfire Grill restaurant and watch the show from there. Their Kilawing Tangigue is very good and goes well with the fireworks show. My favorite “shooter” is the Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Enjoy this one minute video as a preview of things to come on the remaining Saturdays April 20 and 27, 2013.
