One of the websites that make my day. Personally being friends with the wonderful people behind this site is just another perk of being a blogger. The pictures are wonderful to look at. The places they go, as well as the food they feature, are mostly affordable to us office workers. Wonderfully worded and full of important information, Kain Pinoy aims to please, not annoy. This website is pretty much like the food it features, it’s comforting and relaxing. Vote for them and share the comforts and pleasures of online epicurism. Because like you, I love to eat too!
I am in between two giants of the blogosphere. On the left is Blogie Robillo, Mindanao’s blogging ambassador to the world, and to my right is Mr. Wordpress himself, Matt Mullenweg. For me, WordCamp Philippines has been the highlight of my blogging life this year. I learned so many things, things that would have taken me a long time to research, but because of the nice people at WordCamp (people like the Mindanao Bloggers), I have been treated to a smorgasboard of Wordpress lessons, useful tips and a formal introduction to bloggers who shake and move the Pinoy blogosphere.
The event was wonderfully managed. Kudos to the MIndanao Bloggers who organized and prepared for it. Yes, it was a great success! Thanks to Buddy Gancenia for letting me tag along during his video coverage of the major talks during the breakaway and plenary sessions. I hope to be in WordCamp next year!!!!!
It’s that wonderful time of the year. No, I’m not talking about Christmas. I’m talking about the Philippine Blog Awards 2008, where only the best of the best Filipino bloggers will be given the ultimate recognition and bragging rights. Now, we will see who is the best.
