Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

@nette i don't want to speculate on how they lost their money and how they feel they've been duped because too many people saying the same thing is not exactly coincidence. I've done my part explaining the PPLIC is a legal entity and that the insurance they sell is legitimate. I also went as far as saying that I do know some people who have been happy with the product. But for you to even imply that the people complaining about losing their money is untrue, then you are attacking the very customers of PPLIC who need more explanation and breathing room. Secondly, you do not have the right to dictate how people want to save their hard-earned money.

So the fact that you say that people should even be thankful for the insurance is unfounded. True that insurance is a good thing, but it comes in so many forms depending on how people live their lives. sometimes, sending a nephew or niece to college is a form of insurance. Marrying someone with money is a form of insurance. Nobody has the right to dictate what is the right form of insurance fit for anyone. PPLIC products are there but it is in the freedom of the people to choose ON THEIR OWN VOLITION, not because someone with better education or a gift of gab says so.

Many commenters are missing point here, the original complaint is that the method of selling is deceptive. Saying that you won something or that you will get something, or that a check or credit card is the only acceptable ID, is downright thievery. THAT my friend is the original complaint. if you feel strongly about the people complaining here, then YOU ALSO BE THANKFUL that I have aired the side of the complainants, PPLIC and your side as well. PPLIC's Rod Estrera was not even as condescending as you when he made an appeal to the public and has been one with us in denouncing the deceptive marketing methods of these independent insurance vendors.

Insurance plan is one of the best investments that someone can own..especially those who are working abroad. It is a very good way to save money for the future. For those who complains that they were forced to pay something even if they do not want, it is impossible that you were forced. There is no agent inside forcing you to go to cashier and pay, you agreed to do it that is why it was charged, the cashier even ask first the client and inform about the amount before they charge it, so it is impossible that you do not know that you paid some amount of money. It's simple, if you want the product, take it, if not, then leave their offer. They are in the mall, so it is impossible for them to fool people. They are not hiding in far places that people will not see them after buying the plan. Now, the most important thing people should think, that at the end of it, by getting the insurance plan, it will be them and their family's future that will be secured. They will even be thankful in the future that they met 1 agent in the mall and sold them that plan, not because of it, they should have not been invested something at least for their family. You see how is life now, people just keep on spending, and if there is no force from other people to let them start saving for their future, they will not start doing it, because it is already a human nature, that when it comes to investing something, it is very hard to be convinced, but if it is about shopping, right away, no need to force. We should see how big the help this insurance company is giving us to prepare the future of our families. We should understand first the whole story before we judge them, because the bottom line of this, is everything that they offer is a BIG HELP for every Filipino family, especially those parents who are working hard abroad. Ask yourself, do you have any investment so far that you can be proud of and confident to say, that whatever happens to you now, you family could still have in the future the same beautiful life that they have now? If so, be thankful.

i also had this experience last November 2011, i signed up and got a policy... but after that, nagsisi ako at bakit ako nagdesisyon agad, i was not happy but i thought wala na ako choice but to continue...accidentally, i am trying to check their status because i just recently watch the news about prudential plans and i thought it was related to PPLIC.. and to my surprise, i got into this and have read about the sentiments of many...mas lalo na ako nag-worry ngayon, and i also wanted to cancel my plan.. what will i do? if i remember it right, the agent with the manager even interviewd me while having it on video cam.. and they keep on telling me na voluntary ang pagsignup ko at walang pilitan, can it be taken against me at pag i cancel it, wala na ako marefund... i admit, napaniwala nila ako and in just less than an hour, they made me said "YES".. please some advice, by May 2012 po kasi magstart na ako ng monthly premiums... sanA MAPACANCEL KO BEFORE mag mAY this year at ayoko na rin po kasi talaga...

This is around 12:30 - 2:30 pm. Narealize daw nya nasa Bus na lang sya on the way to work tapos may dala syang bag ng Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Company PPLIC. Buti na lang 600+ lang nakuha dahil di pa ata nag uupdate nun yung deposit at wala pa atang laman yung ATM kaya yun lng nakuha. Demonyo tong mga taong to.
