Havin’ a Mrs. Fields day!
All in line for Mrs. Fields’ cookies and goodies! The Mrs. Fields Cookie Cafe will formally open on the 1st of September. Another branch will also open at the Trinoma, for the benefit of those living in the North. Notice some blogger celebrities there? The launch had me go gaga over everything in the menu. During the launch, everyone was allowed to go up the counter, ask for anything they wanted and come back for more. We all had a wonderful Mrs. Fields day!
Noreen’s snicker of satiety. She raved the whole time about the Banana Cashew gelato and the peanut butter-filled Dreambar, a bar of sinful pleasure disguised as a brownie. You’d be smiling too if you downed three Dreambars.
Inset, Edwin Ray Ponce. His first time to attend a bloggers’ event. He just looks dour, but that’s because he’s already had more than his lion share of brownies, cookie cups, Beef Stroganoff pasta and Mrs. Fields iced tea. You may not see it immediately, but there’s a smile somewhere in Edwin’s face. Trust me, he’s smiling.
Ah, the man of the hour. Jayvee Fernandez advised us all the keep the blogging community alive by continually improving our craft. Blogging is a very powerful media and advertising tool and should be used conscientiously. Like he said, ‘if you blog it, they will come”. Quite true in this “Mrs. Fields” of dreams.
Seen here is Cherry Sy, manager of Mrs. Fields Cookie Cafe, professing that her personal favorite is the Cookie Cup as one of the best they have on their shelves. Indeed, the minute I tasted the Cookie Cup, it was heaven. Sorry no pictures of the Cookie Cup here. I was too busy stuffing myself.
