<p style="text-align: justify;">What used to be Domino&#8217;s is now Angel&#8217;s Pizza. No, it&#8217;s not an American company, it&#8217;s purely Pinoy. Kudos to this Pinoy, pizza-loving entrepreneur who decided to reinvent their business and change it from a franchise of Domino&#8217;s to Angel&#8217;s Pizza.<span id="more-881"></span></p>
<p><a title="IMG_4371 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756921694/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4093/4756921694_c11c201cd5.jpg" alt="IMG_4371" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">That&#8217;s PR Practitioner <strong>Annesy Del Mundo</strong>. She invited me and other bloggers to partake of an Angel&#8217;s Pizza, pasta and deserts. Many thanks to her. It&#8217;s so nice to have two pizzas in one bite. Only Angel&#8217;s Pizza has this.</p>
<p><a title="IMG_4357 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756918894/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4114/4756918894_5f48d29358.jpg" alt="IMG_4357" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Cheese pizza is such a wonderful relief from the cacophony of pizza toppings that we usually have. I especially love four-cheese pizza (quattro formaggio) because the blend of cheeses are a real delight to the palate.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">What are the four cheeses used in Quattro Formaggio?</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Parmesan</strong> &#8211; a kind of hard cheese made in the Italian province of Parma, thus the name. It is usually sold grated, though you can buy it in blocks at the supermarket. Sprinkled over past dishes, Parmesan cheese is aromatic and salty but bold in flavor. It doesn&#8217;t stink and can stay in the fridge long.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Mozzarella</strong> &#8211; a soft kind of cheese that&#8217;s gooey when heated. Contrary to what we all know, mozzarella is a generic term for all cheese that were made using a spinning and cutting technique. The most common is buffalo mozzarella, that which is made using a water buffalo&#8217;s milk. There are lots of mozzarella cheeses in the supermarket but the good ones are those sold in jars submerged in some kind of liquid.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Cheddar</strong> &#8211; this cheese is what most of us Filipinos are familiar with. It&#8217;s yellowish and has a sharp salty taste. It goes well with hotdogs, burgers and just about anything we can think of. It&#8217;s also cheaper than mozzarella or parmesan, making it more accessible to Filipino households.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Provolone</strong> &#8211; is a semi-hard cheese that is made with other herbs and spices giving it a rather pungent taste. Pungent but not repulsive, in fact, provolone tastes delicious. It&#8217;s my favorite cheese.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="IMG_4358 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756282193/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4116/4756282193_246b569bd0.jpg" alt="IMG_4358" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There&#8217;s more at Angel&#8217;s than just pizza. They have desserts too.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="IMG_4365 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756284053/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4093/4756284053_7bb0ba5cf8.jpg" alt="IMG_4365" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Their brownies are excellent.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="IMG_4367 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756921232/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4080/4756921232_9778b1db7e.jpg" alt="IMG_4367" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Their carrot cake is even better.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="IMG_4368 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/4756284355/"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4075/4756284355_400d57ac69.jpg" alt="IMG_4368" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Angel&#8217;s Pizza is located at Citygolf, Makati Avenue and Fairview. Not sure about the other branches but I do suggest that you check out the one nearest your location. Call them at 922-22-22 for delivery.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The last leg of our wonderful food tour brings us to <a title="Galileo Enotica website" href="http://www.galileoenoteca.com/enoteca/index.cfm" target="_blank">Galileo Enoteca and Deli. </a>In Italian, Enotica means wine cellar and that is exactly what this place is all about. Various wines from France and Italy line the walls of this charming little wine and deli place. Galileo Enoteca has two branches, one in Mandaluyong City and the other along Pasong Tamo, Makati, which is where these pictures are taken.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-313"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="gewines by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/3021538695/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3289/3021538695_746557b82e.jpg" alt="gewines" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Another lucky food tour winner gets a lomo camera! At each leg of the tour, Tonypet hosts a mini-raffle to give away a lomo camera. This makes each encounter truly exciting as we all hold our breath for the next winner.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="gesomeliers1 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/3021543321/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3184/3021543321_43103dec03.jpg" alt="gesomeliers1" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Prior to serving the wine, deli and cheeses, Galileo&#8217;s knowledgeable sommeliers gave us some pointers on how to better appreciate the wines, such as what food to pair which wine with, etc. I must say, they really know their wines!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="gesomeliers2 by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/3022376064/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3201/3022376064_b0f7e818c3.jpg" alt="gesomeliers2" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Everyone listened intently, even taking pictures. Then we all looked around the place before taking our first sip of red and white wines along with delicious provolone cheese (which I really loved) and cold cuts (which I loved even more)!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a title="gemelc by arpeelazaro, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14758955@N04/3021541041/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3294/3021541041_dbd215b53e.jpg" alt="gemelc" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
