This is the University of Makati’s Sports Oval. Indeed, it is one of the most modern school sports facilities in the country, modern enough to rival some of the most prestigious schools’ sports facilities. I heard rumors that the Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay had this oval constructed so that the University of Makati can play host to some of the most prestigious regional and international sports competitions. For a local government university, I’d say Mayor Binay played his cards right.

Sharing Coca-Cola with UMAK students

These kids were kind enough to let me take their pictures while they were practicing football. After all that running, guess what they had for drinks?

Nothing can be more refreshing than a glass of ice-cold Coca Cola, and these kids are enjoying just that.
